SAP Business One Version 10.0 Highlights - Last update July 2023

SAP Business One 10.0 Release Highlights:

• Web Client
  A new native web client that is based on SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 technologies will greatly simplify the user experience. It will be much easier to manage customers and the related activities around sales order processing directly from the web leveraging SAP HANA. Users will also be able to customize their login screens and interface easily without needing extra training, as well as to access scheduling activities within the solution.

• Usability
  A new skin style “Belize Deep” is added to SAP Business One 10.0, version for SAP HANA. This new skin style creates a harmonized user-experience for those who work with both SAP Business One and the Web Client. There is also a new icon and menu option under the View menu that enables the showing or hiding of the toolbar, this makes it easier for users to enlarge the working area.

• Financial Management
  Now it will be easier for users to have direct access to account details and account balance of relevant accounts increases usability and transparency. Golden Arrows have been added next to the account codes in financial reports allowing users to drill down into the account record within the Chart of Accounts.

• Sales and Purchasing
  You can now hide empty lines in addresses in your sales and marketing documents in the system and in printed documents to make it easier to process. All A/R Reserve Invoices are shown in the Back-Order Report for better reporting visibility.

• Project Management
  Newly added Interactive Gantt Chart allows Project Phases to be moved or extended/shortened interactively. New fields have been added representing Project Due Date and Finish Data, making easier and more visual the planning of Project Management Tasks.

• Inventory and Distribution
  Serial Number Management and Batch Management has been made easier with the new ability to update on A/R Reserve Invoices and Inventory Transfer Requests. Additionally, to have more transparency on the Inventory Transfer transaction the Destination Warehouse Code and Destination Warehouse Name are now included in the Serial Number / Batch Management Update form.

• Production
  Now users can use the Item Description update in the item master data connected to the Bill of Materials parent item that will be reflected in the Bill of Materials Product Description. There is also a direct “drill-down” to item Master Data record now possible from the Parent Item Number which will make it easier to navigate between the screens (Bill of Materials and Item Master Data).

• Platform Extensibility
  Microsoft 365 integration with OneDrive, so users can export documents and reports into Word or Excel.

• Security
  These include the Database Instance Registration and Company Database Configuration and Data Access.
